NR145 45°/0° Colorimeter
A portable 45°/0° ring-illumination colorimeter (SCE) — measuring under conditions closest to human-eye visual assessment, ideal for painted and coated surfaces.
- 45°/0° ring-illumination geometry, SCE mode, matching the way the human eye assesses colour
- Perfectly even illumination removes errors caused by uneven sample lighting
- Vertical housing that protects the instrument from dirt and moisture
- Pre-loaded calibration parameters and a Li-ion battery good for up to 3,000 measurements
The NR145 is a portable 45°/0° colorimeter operating in SCE mode (specular component excluded). Ring illumination delivers perfectly even lighting of the sample and excellent measurement repeatability, removing errors caused by uneven illumination — the reading is taken under conditions closest to the way the human eye assesses colour visually.
The vertical housing keeps the instrument correctly positioned during measurement without risking dirt or moisture ingress, and pre-loaded calibration parameters speed up the workflow — no need to calibrate before every reading. Simple operation and a user-friendly interface require no staff training, and the bundled CQCS3 software archives and processes the data.

Applications
The NR145 is designed in particular for measuring painted and coated surfaces, e.g. in the automotive industry, as well as for colour control in apparel, plastics, furniture and upholstery production, and construction. It performs well in quality control — on the line and in the field — at every stage of production, including printing.
