The NR20XE is a portable 45°/0° colorimeter distinguished by a large Φ20 mm measuring aperture, which allows measurement on uneven, soft surfaces — such as meat, fruit or vegetables — where a standard small aperture cannot deliver a reliable reading. Ring illumination provides perfectly even lighting of the sample, which matters most on rough or textured surfaces.
The vertical housing keeps the instrument correctly positioned during measurement without risking dirt or moisture ingress. Pre-loaded calibration parameters speed up the workflow, and a rechargeable Li-ion battery plus CQCS3 software make it ready for intensive field use.
