The YD5050 is a portable spectrodensitometer from 3nh with 45°/0° geometry (45° ring illumination, 0° viewing angle), compliant with ISO 5-4 and CIE No. 15. It is built for colour measurement and quality control in offset printing, film processing, textile printing and dyeing, and plastic electronics — and is particularly suited to measuring and controlling optical density and dot gain in print shops.

Under 45°/0° geometric optical illumination and the M0, M1, M2 and M3 measurement conditions defined by ISO 13655, the YD5050 accurately measures the sample’s reflectance spectrum. Across multiple colour spaces, it precisely computes print-density indices, colour-difference formulas and colour indices, covering routine testing needs.
