YT1020 Optical Transmittance Meter

Ultra-thin, portable optical transmittance meter for fast light-transmission testing of glass, film and other transparent materials — four spectral bands, 0.5-second readings.

  • Four light-source types — UV, visible, IR 940 nm, IR 1400 nm and full-band IR
  • About 0.5 s measurement time, 0.1% resolution, accuracy better than ±1.5%
  • Ultra-thin design (samples up to 47 mm), auto-calibration on startup
  • 3.5" TFT touchscreen, USB-C power, 5-year light-source life

The YT1020 is a high-precision, portable optical transmittance meter from 3nh built for fast, accurate light-transmission testing of transparent materials such as glass and film. It combines four light-source types (UV, visible 380–760 nm, near-infrared peaks at 940 nm and 1,400 nm, and a full-band IR source) with a high-sensitivity, fast-response silicon photodiode sensor and dedicated algorithms for speed, accuracy, stability and consistency.

Measurement is quick and convenient: the instrument auto-calibrates on power-up, and placing the sample in the test slot returns a reading in about 0.5 seconds. The YT1020 is widely used across the glass, film and related industries to measure transmittance and shading coefficient of transparent materials.
